Julia is caught dancing in this video.
We had gotten a little pool from Petsmart to let Julia play in when it gets hot outside. While she was playing in the pool, the neighbor behind us started practicing on the drums. That’s all that Julia needed to start dancing. She even applauds herself at the end.

Continuing Julia’s hitting streak, she takes out her apparent frustration on Sharon. The hardest part was not laughing too much so that we don’t reinforce this kind of behavior.

Julia really thinks it’s funny to put her Eeyore on her toy bench, then whip Eeyore off with a blanket. It’s amazing how she can just entertain herself like that.

Today’s video is of Julia playing with a little frog. I don’t think the frog was seriously harmed by Julia, though she did get a bit of a laugh from it.

Have you ever played with Line Rider? It’s a bit of a toy, where you draw a track for a little person on a sled to ride along. I had played with it months ago, but it just keeps coming up in my news feeds. It’s a beautifully simple concept, and achieves absolutely ridiculous results.
Someone went to the trouble of recreating the first level from Super Mario Bros. in Line Rider. Below is the video.
I couldn’t believe the amount of time someone actually put into creating this. All of my creations have basically been building a big ramp, then launching my guy on the sled into space. Sometimes, I would try to have him land on something else.
So Julia is starting to “dance” when music plays. This is an older video I took of her in the act. Look for the video after the jump.
So Julia has been getting a bit more brazen in her attempts to walk. We finally decided to try and record one the attempts.
Now she can walk, and has been able to for a few weeks now. The problem is the desire to walk. Right now, she can crawl faster than she can walk, so crawling wins out. I have a feeling it won’t be too long until she starts walking faster than she can crawl.
Until then, I’m okay with Julia continuing to crawl. The sooner she walks, the sooner she is getting into even more stuff.

I’m making my first real attempt at uploading a video to the site. I haven’t figured out a way to easily embed it in the site, or how to convert an avi file to a flash file. (If you know of a way, leave it in the comments.)
