So I’ve uploaded many more pictures to the gallery. Since I’ve last mentioned Julia, she has learned many new things, like:
So all is going well with Julia. She’ll be walking before we know it!

What a mean kitty! Princess Fiona does whatever she wants.

Princess Fiona (aka “The Kitty”) celebrated her third birthday yesterday. What did she do for the big day? Well, nothing very exciting. But she did get to go outside for the first time since the end of May. As you may recall, Fiona went on a bit of an adventure on Sharon’s birthday.
This trip outside was much less exciting. It had rained throughout the day, so she wouldn’t be getting too far. And I put the leash on her collar to slow her down a bit. She didn’t stray too far off the porch, and only then to eat some grass. She did manage to get the leash stuck in between the boards on the deck, but was only stuck for a minute before I went out and saved her.
Who knows, maybe Fiona will get to go outside again soon?
After a bit of a hiatus, I’ve put several more pictures in the gallery. Enjoy!

So Princess Fiona (AKA, The Kitty) decided yesterday that she needed to get out for a little bit. Normally, we let her go in the (fenced) backyard, where she usually wanders about before finding a place in the shade to lay down and watch the birds, rabbits, and chipmunks wander about. But yesterday was a bit different. She got out of the yard, and we didn’t notice because I was inside taking care of Julia while Sharon was working on her garden.
We searched the back and inside, seeing no sign of the kitty. So I started driving around the neighborhood to try and find her. No luck. I ran into (not literally) some neighbors who had seen Fiona running from their dog and into a garage. So we went to the garage, but there was no sign of Fiona. We did find a paw print about 4 feet up on a window, but that was it. So we continued to search.
Over the course of searching, we found at least four cats roaming around and about ten rabbits just hanging out. I started to make for home to get back in a drive around again, when I went to get Julia’s car seat. Who was waiting at the back door? Well, Fiona, of course!
She was peering in, waiting for someone to let her in, acting like nothing had ever happened. Sharon and I are happy that Fiona is back all safe and sound, especially after hearing about her being chased by some dogs. But she’s done now. No more going outside for the kitty. She will strictly be an indoor cat now, no matter how much she begs to go out.
I’ve just uploaded some more pictures. Sorry for skipping last week, we’ve been pretty busy lately.

Enjoy!
I’ve been up since about 12:30am, when Sharon got me and told me it was my turn to feed Julia. Around 2:00am, I finally got Julia to sleep. Her next feeding was around 4:00am, and I’m getting ready to hand off Julia to Sharon so I might be able to get to sleep before the sun rises. Anyway, just some totally random thoughts that I’ve had lately:
Well, it’s starting to get a little light out. I need to get to sleep before it gets too bright.
My last few posts have been a bit on the serious side (well, except for TV), so I’ve decided to lighten it up a bit. Sharon brought it to my attention that I haven’t written anything about Princess Fiona since October.
The kitty has been doing well, and hasn’t really been up to anything. She is still as vicious as ever, but to be honest, we do provoke that kind of behavior. So here’s a couple pictures of the kitty, sitting in a box (one of her favorite pasttimes) and jumping out of the crib.
Of course, there’s more pictures on her section of the photo gallery.
It’s the attack of the kitty. She was chasing after some string at the edge of the bed when I was able to take this picture. Taken with my Olympus D-510 Zoom, using flash, 11mm, F/3.9, 1/60 sec.
