The girls decorated a lot of gingerbread cookies today. They made each of the cookies with no help from me or Sharon. All we did was move them to racks so they wouldn’t get broken.
All the pictures from Knoebels, July 2010.
Kaitlyn had a turn at the bubble wand thing too.

Grandpa Fox was acting the role of “Grandpa Monster” with the girls. The girls decided to get back by roaring back.

Kaitlyn likes to act like a dog at times, and there was no exception at the beach. She took on the waves, then switched it up in the video and mooed like a cow.

Kaitlyn and Julia decided to sing the ABCs. But it wasn’t enough to just sing them, they needed to stand on the “stage” while singing.

Oh yeah, so my hiatus is over and I’ll be back to semi-regular posting again.
We were doing a little shopping yesterday, and I found a pretzel making kit. It included all the yeast and flour needed. At the time, it seemed like something good for Julia and Kaitlyn to do with Grandma and Grandpa B.
Kaitlyn really enjoyed it, as demonstrated by this video.

She sure knows how to take credit for her handiwork!
We finished up our vacation in Ocean City by taking a ride in a pontoon boat. The kids loved it. There was practically no traffic out on the bay and it was absolutely beautiful.
Being out in the sun like that for two hours wiped the kids out. Julia and Kaitlyn struggled to stay awake after our two hour tour. But they slept quite well on the way back home.
After playing on the beach to start off our vacation in Ocean City, it seemed like a fun idea to go crabbing. So we got some traps, and found out that crabs like to each chicken necks. We couldn’t find any, so drumsticks would have to do.
It was windy that day, so it was hard to see into the water. We never really knew if we had caught any crabs, so we pulled up our crab traps randomly.
At the end of our adventure, I ended up catching two crabs. Dad and Isaac didn’t catch any. Skill? Not a chance. I just got lucky.
