I stumbled on the Parody Motivator Generator, where you can create one of those great “motivational” posters.
What can you come up with?

So with the picture gallery, I’m considering my recent upload complete. Of course, by this time, I have another pile of pictures (and videos!) to be uploaded.
This picture has Julia playing with Susan’s cat Lexi on Thanksgiving. (See, it only takes three weeks to upload some pictures and mention them on this blog…)

Continuing from the previous batch of pictures I uploaded recently, we went to the park last month and took some pictures with our new camera. Sharon was starting to get sick of waiting on the flash to recharge on the old camera, and wasn’t too wild with the picture quality anymore, so we took the plunge on a [tag]Canon Rebel XTi[/tag]. So you may notice that the pictures are starting to look a little different now. It’s just with the new camera.

For 2007, the American Bar Association chose Alberto Gonzales as the Lawyer of the Year.
In other bizarro news, they have also named the Lawyer of the Year for 2008 in the same article.
They clearly state in the article that they want to stir up debate. I have some other terms for it: baiting or being a troll. At least people are calling them on their crap.
I’m catching up again on pictures. There are another ~150 pictures in the galleries now. I think these were from about a month ago.
This picture is one of my favorite pictures of Kaitlyn. She wasn’t actually mad or upset, it’s just the facial expression when I took the picture.

It’s a Hanukkah Ham! You know, for those who like the those 8 Crazy Nights, but don’t want to give up the pig either.
And it’s not like this was captured somewhere that could have claimed ignorance. It was captured in a grocery store in Manhattan.
I was reading boingboing, and someone found uranium ore for sale on Amazon. Sadly, the page no longer functions on Amazon.
But we have Google, and Google never forgets. Here is the link to the cache of the original page.
Why would Amazon even take this page down? What’s even more interesting is that the comments are still active. I think the comments are even better than the fact they were selling uranium at all. Take this one:
I bought a can of this about 4.5 billion years ago, give or take a few million years, but when I went to use it today I noticed only half of it was still in the can. I swear I put the lid on tight. I’d give it more stars if it came in a better package.
Julia loves to use the camera, and loves to take pictures. She can grab the camera off the counter or table and turn it on. As if that’s not enough, she checks to see if the camera is in picture viewing or picture shooting mode, changes it to take pictures if needed, then goes ahead and starts taking pictures. I’ve uploaded some of her better ones. Looking through the gallery, you can get the sense that Julia is starting to get better at taking pictures.
Now she likes to take pictures of herself. It’s quite funny to see her hold the camera out as far as she can, with it pointed at her, and take pictures.

Sharon got Julia and Kaitlyn elfed. It’s a pretty funny video.
… in Ashland, KY of all places.
A while back, a guy tried to rob a store in Ashland after covering his face in duct tape.
This time, a guy held up the store at stapler point. This part of the story is awesome (emphasis mine):
Ashland Police Capt. Don Petrella said he didn’t know if Rocchi planned to shoot staples at the shop’s employees or use it as a blunt instrument if he didn’t get the cash.
Really, shoot staples at the employees? That’s serious!
