  • Picture Gallery #34

    I’ve given up on adding new pictures to my gallery. In an upgrade, I somehow messed up the ability to add pictures. [Update: It’s fixed. Check out the gallery for more updates.] So I’m adding them in this way. Enjoy!

  • Upgrade to WP 2.5

    After not upgrading any of the software on this blog in quite some time, I’ve taken the plunge and upgraded from 2.1.3 to 2.5. I was planning on upgrading to 2.3.3, but as soon as I finished that, there was a note that 2.5 was out.

    So you shouldn’t see anything different, but I’ll probably handle the pictures and maybe videos a little bit differently now.

  • Picture Gallery #33

    Here are some more pictures taken around Julia’s second birthday. She discovered that markers are for drawing on more than just paper. I went to get Kaitlyn from a nap, and Sharon was doing dishes, and this is how we discovered Julia. So I took Julia into the bathroom to show her what her face looked like. I was hoping that would scare her – but no, instead, she loved it.

  • Julia, Singing, Part #4

    (I don’t know if it’s really #4, but a look back reveals a few videos of Julia singing.)

    Here is another video of Julia singing. She’s really belting it out on this one. She starts by singing behind her little block wall, then walks around it, knocks the wall down, and then keeps on singing. After I was done with this video, I let Julia watch it. She absolutely loved it, and wanted to watch it a few more times.

  • Picture Gallery #32

    Some of these pictures were taken around Julia’s birthday. One of Julia’s main presents was the table you see below. She loves it. We also got a fake birthday cake too – so Julia plays hostess and serves everyone a piece of cake. It’s quite funny to see her playing make believe.

  • Eating Cake

    Continuing on from yesterday’s post about Julia’s birthday… She really did not want to eat the cake. I guess she had something against eating her favorite Muppet? Who knew?

  • Julia’s 2nd Birthday

    I wasn’t home when Julia turned 2 last week when I was in Australia (I know, bad Daddy!), so we ended up celebrating last weekend. Sharon and Susan did quite the impressive job making an Elmo cake, and Julia was more than happy to be the center of attention.

    Blowing out the candle only once wasn’t enough for Julia – no, she had to do it twice. (Maybe she had a little help on that second attempt.)

  • Julia, Drinking

    This is one of my favorite videos now. Julia starts drinking from her play cup, then refills it in her play kitchen, then takes another shot.

    Pay close attention to the very end and notice what she does with the cup at the end. It’s hilarious.
