This is one of my favorite videos now. Julia is playing the piano and singing along. Not only is she singing and playing, but the sheet music must be just right. It’s absolutely hilarious.

News about Julia!

After all the presents are opened, Julia gets to “open” the last one, a play kitchen. She instantly falls in love with it, and gets right to playing chef. She went for about half an hour before brunch just telling everyone what she was doing.
(Be warned, this is a longer video. Give it a minute to load the buffer.) Look for the video after the jump.
Everyone gathers around Julia opening up her first present. She is fascinated by the Cabbage Patch Kid, and wants to play with that rather than open more presents.

Julia totally misses the presents when she first runs out from waking up this morning. Eventually, she does notice the pile of presents and stares at them in awe.

What takes an engineer (me), an architect (Isaac), and a lawyer (Susan) over an hour to do?

Lately, Julia has started taking pictures of herself. I’m not sure if the flash in her face that she likes, or maybe she like the control of taking her pictures by herself.
As best I can tell, all the pictures in Julia’s gallery were taken by Julia. Most of them have a telltale sign it was by Julia. Like the nativity scene – it’s on a table that’s right at Julia’s level. I’m just glad she decided to take a picture of it instead of knock it over!

Julia likes to play with our coffee pot. She takes it out of the cabinet and walks around with it.
Julia also likes to play with the onions. She takes them out from a drawer in our microwave stand.
So what happens when you put an onion in the coffee pot and drizzle some whole milk on top of the onion? Julia decided to find out.
I call it an onion latte. Maybe we should tell Starbucks about it. Somehow, she got her sippy cup of milk stuck in the coffee pot (with the onion) and decided that was something worth getting very upset over. She handed me the coffee pot, and didn’t stop whining until I took the sippy cup out of the coffee pot and handed the milk back to her.
So with the picture gallery, I’m considering my recent upload complete. Of course, by this time, I have another pile of pictures (and videos!) to be uploaded.
This picture has Julia playing with Susan’s cat Lexi on Thanksgiving. (See, it only takes three weeks to upload some pictures and mention them on this blog…)

Continuing from the previous batch of pictures I uploaded recently, we went to the park last month and took some pictures with our new camera. Sharon was starting to get sick of waiting on the flash to recharge on the old camera, and wasn’t too wild with the picture quality anymore, so we took the plunge on a [tag]Canon Rebel XTi[/tag]. So you may notice that the pictures are starting to look a little different now. It’s just with the new camera.

I’m catching up again on pictures. There are another ~150 pictures in the galleries now. I think these were from about a month ago.
This picture is one of my favorite pictures of Kaitlyn. She wasn’t actually mad or upset, it’s just the facial expression when I took the picture.
