… in Ashland, KY of all places.
A while back, a guy tried to rob a store in Ashland after covering his face in duct tape.
This time, a guy held up the store at stapler point. This part of the story is awesome (emphasis mine):
Ashland Police Capt. Don Petrella said he didn’t know if Rocchi planned to shoot staples at the shop’s employees or use it as a blunt instrument if he didn’t get the cash.
Really, shoot staples at the employees? That’s serious!
These pictures are from back in September when I was up in PA getting some training and Sharon and the kids were in Georgia with Grandma and Grandpa. Julia and Kaitlyn sure make some priceless expressions.

So I’m just noticing how far I’ve fallen behind in the picture galleries. Well, it has been a busy last couple months, with the move, new job, etc…
I’ll be working on getting some new pictures online here in the next couple days. (I promise!)
Now that we’ve fallen back an hour, I’m heading to work before sunrise and getting home after sunset. So I’m literally working sunup to sundown. And it’s depressing. At least before the time change, it would be sunny on the way home. Sunset was at 4:54 today? That just makes me sad. In Greensboro, sunset was half an hour later, so it was still somewhat light when I got home.
Oh well, summer will be better…
Julia takes her love of singing and playing the piano and combines it in this video. She looks like she really knows what she’s doing. It’s another great video.0

This video was taken a couple weeks ago after we moved into our house but before we got our stuff moved in. Julia decided she was going to serenade us with some songs. It was quite the performance, complete with a song and a dance.

The last month has been quite a blur. I spent about three weeks in the Philly area looking for a house and getting some training for my new job. Then we spent another week getting our house in Greensboro packed up (well, we didn’t do much packing…), selling the house, moving up to PA, and getting in our new house.
Now we’re just in the process of getting everything set up here. We just got the internet hooked up a couple days ago, so we’re not “borrowing” our neighbors open wi-fi anymore. Look for more frequent updates on this site now. Well, more frequent updates than once a month at least…
Concluding this second video week, we’ve got Kaitlyn sitting in the Bumbo, while Julia is attempting to tell her a story. However, the story is the inside of a CD cover, and Kaitlyn can’t stand being in the Bumbo for too long. So instead of the story, Julia tries to calm down Kaitlyn, but isn’t all that successful. The video ends just before things get out of hand.

What started off as just a nice doll has become something else entirely for Julia. She absolutely loves her Bitty Baby. Julia watches Sharon feeding and taking care of Kaitlyn, and then does the same thing to her Bitty Baby. It is absolutely adorable to watch.
In this video, Julia is feeding her Bitty Baby. Then she burps the doll, then lays her down. She also talks to [tag]Bitty Baby[/tag]. What she is saying, I haven’t a clue. But at least it seems to keep Julia entertained.
