They act like some unknown reaction is going to occur… the cows are going to get high! What’s the part they’re unsure of? Of course there will be THC in the milk. This seems like willful ignorance to me.

I agree. The side effects of marijuana are pretty well known. I wonder how you would tell a high cow from a sober cow?
The telltale sign is really the paranoia– the cattle will start to put in eyedrops and constantly ask one another, “Do I look high?”
