Julia was part of the 4th/5th grade orchestra recital earlier in the week. Kaitlyn took a video of the two songs they played.

Julia and her friend Landon did VexIQ yesterday and did really well. They built a small robot that they controlled to get some balls off a ramp and over a gate. They also work with other teams, trying not to get in each other’s way and work together. Here are a couple videos from yesterday. In each video, the robot that Julia and Landon built is on the right side of the table.

The piano recital for Julia and Kaitlyn came early this year, but the girls still really well. The theme this time around was “Surprise” and there was no order to the program; the order was chosen at random. First up was Julia and Kaitlyn doing a duet.

Julia and Kaitlyn had their yearly piano recital tonight. They did a great job! Here are some videos of them playing.

We visited Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and took a lot of pictures. I found a program called Autostitch to make a panorama of the view from one of the lookouts.

Julia and Kaitlyn had their very first horse riding lesson today, and I think it was quite successful.

Julia and Kaitlyn made very interesting designs a couple days ago.
On Julia’s tablet, of course.
Julia had her very first race today. She ran half a mile in just over five minutes. She did great, and gets to do it again in two weeks.
