  • Ms. Pac Man Commercial

    Go here to watch an old-school Ms. Pac Man commercial. This stuff was actually on TV at one time? I was speechless after watching it, not knowing how to even react to it.

  • Mosquito Tone Test

    I stumbled on this link (via Mental Floss) to a test to measure how high a frequency you can hear. We started testing this on the laptop, and I could hear up to 16kHz, and Sharon could hear 17 kHz. But we tried on the desktop speakers, and I could hear 17 kHz, and Sharon could hear 18 kHz. According to the chart accompanying the post, that’s pretty good for late-20s/early-30s.

  • Julia’s Self Portraits

    Julia had a phase recently where she was taking a ton of pictures of herself. Instead of uploading all the pictures, I played with the collage function in Picasa.

    She’s developed a habit of needing to immediately see the picture after it’s been taken. When she’s taking pictures of herself, this isn’t a problem; she just flips the camera around and looks at the screen.

    However, when I’m trying to take a picture, she insists on coming over to the camera, and gawking at herself on the camera. It gets old quickly.

  • Picture Gallery #47 – Pictures by Julia

    Julia continues to take a lot of pictures with our older camera. But now Kaitlyn is also getting into the game of taking pictures as well. So it’s getting more difficult to know for sure if all of these pictures are really from Julia.

    Julia has also gotten into self portraits again. Look for more proof coming soon.

  • Massive Picture Update!

    I’ve added a ton of pictures to the gallery. Look for some picture gallery updates to be coming down the line soon.

  • Gallery2 Upgrade

    I’ve upgraded the photo gallery to a new version. While doing that, I tweaked the layout to make it look a little bit better. Now it’s time to start updating the gallery again.

    I also changed the name of the blog. Wanted something a little different.

    I really enjoy listening to Pandora. One thing that Pandora does is show similar artists to the one currently playing. It seems to work most of the time. However, this is what shows up when Pink Floyd starts playing:
