I took a timelapse video of going down the chairlift at Blue Mountain. Can’t see a whole lot of the race as a lot of it was about a quarter mile to the left of the chairlift. I’m also playing with putting videos on YouTube now instead of hosting locally.
Oh no, it snowed! Then it snowed some more. And more. And more. This is just a simple timelapse I started before bed last night. The lens wasn’t so great, and that’s why it ends up getting blurry and then fixed. The snow really piles up around the 1:00 mark.
Julia was part of the 4th/5th grade orchestra recital earlier in the week. Kaitlyn took a video of the two songs they played.
The piano recital for Julia and Kaitlyn came early this year, but the girls still really well. The theme this time around was “Surprise” and there was no order to the program; the order was chosen at random. First up was Julia and Kaitlyn doing a duet.
Then a bit later, it was followed up by Julia’s solo.
Then Kaitlyn did her solo.
The girls walked in the local Christmas Parade today.
We thought it might be a bit cold to walk that far in the parade, but they held up quite well. The weather wasn’t too bad either, so that helped a lot.
The video was quite choppy, so it might look a bit strange because of the image stabilization.
Julia performed in her very first piano recital last night. She has been playing for less than a year, and performed two songs. The first was with Sharon, the second a solo.
Julia started Kindergarten today. Here’s a video of her getting off the bus.
She had a great first day.
